Golf for the health
Stroke for stroke does something for the health. We offer our employees this opportunity with the new golf beginner's course. Every Tuesday the clubs are swinging at Werl golf club.
Hereby, it is more than just putting and a license to play on golf courses in Germany because the sport with the small white ball strengthens the complete cardiovascular system. Furthermore golf promotes stamina, concentration and creativity. The Golf Academy at the University of Paderborn reported moreover of further positive side effects: The cholesterol level decreases, the fat metabolism is stimulated and reduces body weight.
Golf training from head to toe: Of the 434 muscles that humans have, 132 are stressed at every tee off. However, chipping and putting on the green provides for stress relaxation – especially after a hard day at the office. Because of the outdoor exercise, the overwhelmed nervous system recovers and the stress is reduced.
