Jens Wagener is chairman of the board for itemis. He founded the company together with Wolfgang Neuhaus in 2003.

Prior to this he worked at Brockhaus Software & Consulting AG in Lünen for 5 years. As an authorized signatory he was a member of the executive board and responsible for the areas of marketing, personnel and organisation.

Jens Wagener holds a degree in business administration and graduated from the University of Dortmund.

Wolfgang Neuhaus is a board member and founder of itemis. He is responsible for finance and controlling.

Wolfgang Neuhaus began his career with various software companies as a software developer. Later he became a software architect. In 1999 he came to meet his current business partner, Jens Wagener, as a development manager for Brockhaus Software and Consulting AG. There he was as general manager and member of the management board responsible for a team of about 80 developers and consultants.

Wolfgang Neuhaus is a graduate of the University of Dortmund and holds a degree in computer science. His focus is on model-based software development, which he has been promoting for years through being a book author and conference speaker.

Sebastian Neus is as a board member responsible for the areas of marketing and sales. He also advises companies in the selection and implementation of software architectures and IT process models. He benefits from more than 10 years experience in the enterprise environment and a broad knowledge of business management processes.

Prior to joining itemis he founded run-e GmbH & Co. KG, where as general manager he was responsible for the product business.

Sebastian Neus studied business informatics at the University of Essen and has a degree in computer science.

Dr. Georg Pietrek is as a board member, head of the division for research and development. He has many years of experience as a developer, project leader and software architect.

He began his career as a project leader and quickly identified the advantages of automated software approaches. Before his involvement with itemis he was employed by Adesso AG in Dortmund as chief architect.

Dr. Georg Pietrek studied computer science at the University of Braunschweig and earned his doctorate in 2001 from Dortmund University, likewise in the field of computer science.

Jens Trompeter as a board member is responsible for personnel and takes care in this function among other things in the personnel- development and resource planning.

He began his career with Brockhaus Software & Consulting AG as a consultant for requirements analysis and software development with focus on B2B-Portals at large companies. Following this he was employed in a managerial position at Unilog Avinci in the field of content-management and portals. In May 2006 he joined itemis as an authorized signatory and head of the personnel- and organisations development department.

Jens Trompeter holds a degree in business administration and graduated from the University of Dortmund.
