Prof. Dr. Burkhard Igel, Chairman of the supervisory board
Prof. Dr. Burkhard Igel, born in 1957, studied telecommunication engineering and worked afterwards as a graduate engineer in the field of simulation of gas distribution systems at Siemens AG in Karlsruhe from 1978 to 1980.
In 1984 he graduated from the faculty of computer sciences at the University of Dortmund. Until 1989 he worked as a research assistant at the Frauenhofer-Institut and afterwards at the faculty of computer science at University Dortmund. In 1989 he was awarded a doctorate in the field of applicative and functional programming languages.
After that he worked at Siemens AG for 15 years and was responsible for the technical management of information engineering of industrial solutions, firstly in the Ruhr area and then in the entire federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Today, he is professor at the faculty of information technology and electrical engineering at the technical college in Dortmund and chairs the institute for information engineering (main focuses: software engineering and embedded systems).

Stephan Grollmann, Assistant chairman of the Supervisory Board
After finishing his bank training, Stephan Grollman studied law at the Ruhr University of Bochum. After completing a postgraduate study course at the college for administrative sciences in Speyer, his legal clerkship at the regional court in Essen and his second state examination in 2001, he was admitted as lawyer.
He completed a compact university course in foundation management at the European Business School (ebs) and is today senior director of the National-Bank AG. Stephan Grollman regularly gives lectures on topics such as e.g. asset and corporate succession.

Michael Neuhaus, Member of the Supervisory Board
Michael Neuhaus started his career with a bank training at the WGZ Bank in Münster. Afterwards he graduated from the Philipps University in Marburg with a degree in business administration.
The focal points of his studies were banking management and accounting. With this he was perfectly qualified for his function in the accounting department of the Rheinisch-Westfälischer Genossenschaftsverband, where he started to work in 1997. In 2002 he completed the exam in tax accountancy and in 2004 the exam in accounting.
Today, his key activities are the examination of corporate credit associations, audit investigations and international accounting (IFRS).
