Kurt Ebert, Director Sales

Kurt Ebert, born 1954, is the director of sales for itemis.

The degree holder in mathematics (FH) can draw on many years of IT experience. After several years as a software developer and project manager he has been responsible for 25 years in different markets (industry, finance, etc.) and regions for the entire sales process in IT products, solutions and services sales. Stages of his international sales and management activities were BRAINFORCE, BROKAT, Intershop and LFE.

Michael Jendryschik, Head of Web Development

Michael Jendryschik is the director of web development at itemis in Lünen. He graduated from technical college (Diplom-Informatiker (FH)) and worked for GETIT GmbH in Dortmund afterwards. There he worked in the CMS and e-commerce environments, first as a developer and consultant and later in a management position.

Michael Jendryschik is a book author (introduction to XHTML, CSS and Webdesign) and writes professional articles on web front-end topics. His work focuses on XML technologies, web-usability and above all, professional web design with (X)HTML and CSS. Also as a Webkraut he is committed to web standards and follows the development of the web with interest.

Timm Peters, Director Sales

As sales director, Timm Peters is responsible for the development and expansion of national and international markets.

His professional career began after graduating in computer science and media pedagogy at RAG Bildung. After intensive marketing and sales training, he left his position as division manager at RAG Bildung to work for EnNo Consulting AG, where he then assumed the responsibility for marketing and sales as division manager and authorized representative.

In the course of his career Timm Peters also gained, on top of his core competencies of marketing and sales, additional extensive IT know-how, experience as account and key account manager as well as a broad practical knowledge in media production as the managing director of a film production company.

Patrick Schneider, Head of Marketing

Patrick Schneider is in charge of marketing at itemis. His duties include the planning, organization and supervision of marketing activities. As a member of the marketing and sales team, he is responsible for the development of national and international markets.

During his studies of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Dortmund, Patrick worked many years in marketing at Ruhr Nachrichten. After spending six months looking beyond the rim of his tea cupat the Office of Public Relations, Protocol and Events of the Government of New South Wales, Australia, Patrick graduated with a degree in Business Administration and then worked for the Emil Frey Group Germany. From there Patrick found his way to itemis in 2007.

Axel Terfloth, Head of Department for Embedded-Development

Axel Terfloth leads the research and development in the area of embedded development for itemis. He deals with the adaptation and further development of methods and technologies in model-based software development, especially for the development of embedded systems.

Axel Terfloth already has over 15 years of experience as a developer, software architect and project leader, as well as having gathered experience in the fields of project– and product development at various companies. His interests and main focuses are software architectures, model-based software development, the development of frameworks and modelling tools as well as agile development processes. Furthermore he engages himself in open-source-projects.

Axel Terfloth holds a degree in computer science and is a graduate of Dortmund University.

Dr. Martin Wrangel, Authorized signatory and Head of project management

Dr. Martin Wrangel is the head of department for project management. As an authorized signatory he is responsible for the project management division at itemis. Moreover he coordinates the area of tender management.

As a certified project manager of the PMI, certified Scrum-Master and Scrum Practitioner he has directed projects for more than 10 years in various national and international customer environments. Within the scope of his projects he has already been pressing ahead with generative and model-based software development since 1998 and builds on agile procedure models.

Dr. Martin Wrangel studied computer science at the University of Dortmund from where he was also awarded his doctorate in computer science in 2000.
