The JAX Innovation Award was presented and awarded to the winners during the JAX, the Enterprise Architecture Conference and the Eclipse Forum Europe. The three conferences took place at the same time in Wiesbaden from 23 to 27 April 2007 and together represent the most important meeting for professional information technology in Europe. itemis AG received the seal of approval TOP 100 for its outstanding innovative achievements and is therefore one of the most innovative medium-sized businesses in Germany. In the category Top Management Promoting Innovation, itemis attained the first place and ranks among the five most innovative companies in Germany. itemis AG was an award winner in the contest Zukunftswettbewerb Ruhrgebiet, a future contest promoting technology-oriented and innovative products in the the Ruhr Area of Germany, in 2005 and 2006 as part of the Ziel-2 program of the Federal State of North-Rhine Westphalia. The research sponsor is the Jülich Research Center. The Center for Innovation and Technology (ZENIT) awarded the research funds.
