Trainings for embedded systems
Model-driven software development raises the re-usability of artefacts from previous software projects and shortens the development cycles. In the development of embedded systems and of business solutions, model-driven concepts evolve parallel. Whereas in the embedded field, optimized code generators and simulation environments for partial systems are up front, the MDSD concepts represent complete software architectures in the business field.
The business line “Yakindu” is concerned about the appliance of model-based concepts for the development of embedded systems and programming close to the hardware. The first result of this work are the YAKINDU Statechart Tools – Eclipse Plug-ins with an editor for state machines, which visually highlights the states and transitions. Another feature is the possibility to debug the state machine. The tools are expanded stepwise.

We offer to you two trainings adapted for the development of embedded systems:
- MDSD for embedded systems: One-day training which highlights a exemplary tool-chain, from model over generation to uploading the code to the controller. This training also presents the Yakindu Statechart Tools.
- oAW power-workshop: embedded systems: Our two-day oaw power-workshop, adapted for the development of embedded systems and programming close to the hardware.
