Abstract

What exactly is an Eclipse DemoCamp? Eclipse DemoCamps are a worldwide series of events sponsored by the Eclipse Foundation. The DemoCamps are pubic and are organized locally and decentrally. The purpose of DemoCamps is to foster the local Eclipse communities, provide an opportunity for technical discussions of the use and development of Eclipse and lastly, simply an informal gathering to get to know others and exchange information.

A total of 26 Eclipse DemoCamps will be held worldwide. They will start on November 6, 2008 in Bangalore, India. Continuing in Hamburg, Germany, Chicago, Illinois, Poznan, Poland and many other cities, the final DemoCamp will take place in Sophia, Bulgaria on November 29, 2008.
