6 examples for a useful appliance of microformats
Abstract
The hype around microformats has recently let up a bit. Many web developers use them to design their websites with richer semantics than is possible with pure (X)HTML. But most web developers do without microformats either because they are not familiar with them or because they seem too complicated for them to use. This cannot be justified because microformats are a benefit to the web! This presentation shows what all you can do with “microformated” pages.
The presentation is being held within the course of the Webkongress Erlangen – Web 2.0 – the future of web technologies.
