JAX 2010 – Ups and Downs of Code Generation

Abstract

Code generation is a powerful technique and a central aspect of model-driven software development. However, in practice it is often miss-used or over-used. In this talk I will share my list of best and worst practices of applying code generation and talk about pitfalls and alternatives.

He is an eclipse committer and is responsible for the Xtext-framework and architect of the Xpand-language family (also known as openArchitectureWare).
