Abstract
itemis is now a »JBoss SI Advanced Partner« of software manufacturer Red Hat. With JBoss in its portfolio, Red Hat has a leading provider of »Open Source Middleware« at its disposal and promotes the development of service-orientated architecture (SOA). The good contacts between itemis and Red Hat/JBoss are now highlighted by the new partnership, which will focus on the direct exchange of know-how on everything concerning Open Source, SOA and service models and which will also promote synergies from the potential of both partners.

The Open Source solutions of itemis and Red Hat/JBoss complement each other in many areas, so that both partners are now aiming towards a market penetration of previously untapped segments. itemis is also using the partnership to offer its customers, with a complementary product and service portfolio, suitable solutions in the Enterprise environment.
