Timing and content of the workshops
Starting the two-day workshop, the on-site itemis employees define the concepts together with the development department of the customer which is being intensively involved in the concepts of »MDSD-Potential-Analysis«. In addition, the available alternatives are examined and expectations are compared.
Then the real analysis begins: The experienced MDSD experts of itemis jointly determine with the IT-department of the customer, how and where model driven development is useful. It is also shown and openly addressed here, which development processes are not yet ready for an introduction of these methods.
Apart from the suitability of the application area of the model driven software development, thought will be given to the understanding of the employees on the particular software architecture, as well to necessary training where required.
