itemis AG now international with French branch
Model-driven software development for French customers
Abstract
itemis AG, a leading IT consulting firm and service provider, is increasing its international activities. itemis France SARL will promote model-driven software development in France. itemis will provide French customers with individual support in complex software development from the concept phase right up to implementation. Three branches in different cities are planned.
It is expected that embedded system development will be of particular interest to the French aviation and automobile industry.
Abdelghani El-Kacimi, Managing Director of itemis France, explains: »Toulouse and Montpelliers offer the best conditions in both fields«.
itemis is, therefore, planning three branches in France. From its branch in »Aerospace Valley« in Toulouse itemis will serve customers from the aviation industry. itemis’ second branch, located in Montpellier’s »PARC 2000«, will focus on tool development as well as research and development at itemis. A third branch in Paris is planned for costumers from the automobile industry or other sectors, for example banks and insurance companies. Till then these Paris customers are served by the other two branches. itemis already has not only employees in the new branch but has also developed its first contacts to the relevant businesses and research institutes.
