itemis ANALYZE 26-08 (1.1.2636)
Improvements
New features introduced in this release.
Jama Connect Adapter
A new adapter for Jama Connect is available in all products. Artifacts are read per item type and can be restricted to a location path or to baselines. Relationships and the composition hierarchy are provided as links. Pick list values are resolved to their labels, and artifacts open in Jama Connect in the version they were fetched from.
Browser login for uploads to itemis ANALYZE
Uploading a snapshot and its query results can authenticate through the system browser (OpenID Connect with PKCE). After the login the browser shows a confirmation page or the landing page configured for the deployment. The username and password login is only offered on deployments that support it.
Upload of large query results
Query results are uploaded through a presigned URL. Results larger than 10 MB no longer fail, and the batch mode does not wait for the snapshot import before uploading them anymore.
Windows certificate store trusted by default
On Windows the products use the Windows root certificate store as trust store, so company certificates are accepted without importing them into a Java trust store.
Doors Next LQE link fetching in chunks
The Doors Next adapter fetches links from LQE in chunks, which avoids request length limits for large sets of source artifacts.
Enterprise Architect 17 shortcut files
Shortcut files in the format of Enterprise Architect 17 are supported.
Model Context Protocol support moved to ANALYZE Cloud
Model Context Protocol (MCP) support has moved from the desktop application to ANALYZE Cloud. The built-in MCP server of the desktop application is therefore gone, and the corresponding option is no longer available in the workspace preferences. It was released as a preview and is withdrawn without a prior deprecation announcement.
MCP integration now runs against a deployed server of the cloud application, for example via docker-compose or a full deployment. Customers who still rely on the built-in server of the desktop application can continue to use an earlier release. Snapshots remain readable with older versions.
Bug Fixes
Bugs fixed in this release.
Doors Next LQE query fixes
Attribute values whose enumeration literal was deleted in Doors Next are ignored instead of being shown as raw URI. A NOT IN condition on the URI, component, project or type column returned an empty result instead of excluding the listed values.
Doors Next selection handling
Selecting artifacts of other adapters failed when the Doors Next adapter was installed.
Excel links with empty cells
Empty entries in cells with multiple links produced spurious links.
