Installation

The itemis SECURE application is usually distributed as a ZIP archive. Within the archive the installer is self-contained, includes a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and all necessary dependencies.

For version control features git version control system needs to be installed.
Git is an open source distributed version control system. itemis SECURE is designed to work with git integration, but can work with other version control system through plugins upon request.

The installation can be done with and without administration rights. The installation folder is:

  • with administrator rights: C:\Program Files\itemis\SECURE xx.x
  • without administrator rights: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\itemis SECURE

System Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • 4 GB RAM
  • 2.5 GB free disk space (SSD recommended)
  • 1280x780 minimum resolution

itemis SECURE supports Microsoft Windows 64 bit 10 and 11 platforms.
