The itemis SECURE provides various levels of configuring application behavior:

  • Local: Settings of individual preference, such as the font size, or custom keyboard shortcuts. Changes in it will only affect the local machine.
  • Project wide: Settings are part of the Analysis Model. They are checked into the version control system and shared with other team members that work on the same project. Equally important, they may differ from project to project so that when working on multiple projects, each will have the correct settings being used. Being checked into version control also means, that the history and branches will take these settings into account.
  • Company wide: Settings are given from someone else – usually your competence center or client. This includes the method configuration with all the names and details on which attack feasibility levels, impact levels or impact categories are used in this company. Such is required to ensure analyses of related projects are composable and comparable.

For each setting, it is fixed, on which of these levels it can be configured. The following lists some of them.
