Install from Update Sites
Stable Releases
You can install all itemis CREATE features (5.x releases) as well as older YAKINDU Statechart Tool features (4.x releases) from the following Eclipse update site into existing Eclipse installations:
https://artifacts.itemis.cloud/repository/p2/create/releases
Please be aware that:
- 5.2.x versions of itemis CREATE require at least Eclipse release 2022-03 or higher (newer)
- 5.0.x and 5.1.x versions of itemis CREATE require Eclipse release 2023-03 or lower (older)
How to install
- Download and install an appropriate Eclipse version from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads
- For a new installation
- choose Eclipse menu Help/Install New Software ...
- press the "add" button in the top right corner of the installation wizard to add one of the update site URLs listed above...
- select the listed features and
- follow the installation wizard
- For updating the installed plugins select Help/Check for Updates...
After installing the plugins, a user guide is included in the Eclipse help. Choose Help/Help Contents from the menu. A browser window will pop up and you will find the user guide as an entry on the left side overview.
The old update site https://updates.yakindu.com/sct/releases/ is deprecated and does only contain v4.x releases.
