Don’t do it! Do it differently – start with us as a Usability Engineer.

You are able to adjust to new situations and share your knowledge with colleagues and clients – buzzwords aren’t our thing, and shouldn’t be yours either. You are able to tell hardcore software developers why their product will not work in the application, but in a creative, uncomplicated way with a good dose of humour.

Have a look at the video from our colleagues Karsten and Holger. This is about the construction of programming languages, but will help you to understand what we mean.

If you want to work with us you should already have at least three years of professional experience in usability engineering. It is particularly important that you are competent in the design of software solutions and are familiar with graphical tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator. You should be able to create high-fidelity prototypes with Axure or related tools and convince others with creative concepts. You will of course be familiar with moderation, interview and evaluation methods, so that you can support all stages of the usability engineering process.

Please note that you will have a very good command of German both written and spoken (at least CEFR level B2).

You do not need certifications in agile process methods such as Scrum, as you can achieve these through Scrum Alliance, or TÜV while working with us, but you should be looking for new clients, new locations and new teams. If you need to travel we will ensure that a reasonable balance is possible.

We have a great working environment with people who will be happy to work with you. It’s fine if you have a dog, as many of our colleagues bring their dogs to work.

We will train you intensively. To support this we have developed our ‘4+1’ working model. You will work with us on your own responsibility and will gain appreciation from your colleagues and superiors. We offer flexible working hours and close cooperation across locations and responsibilities. You can work at any of our offices: Lünen, Bonn, Paderborn, Heath, Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

Have a look at the career area of our website to see what working with us is like. Please apply in German or send us your certificate. We look forward to meeting you.
